Ecosol PMS
| Overview |
Further to our effort to introduce our environmental ink, CSC had taken a step further in introducing our eco-solution ink
which is non PVC, Phthalate and Formaldehyde. Ecosol is an “plastisol simulated” acrylic emulsion paste ink with a
common PMS matching system Ecosol PMS Color Matching System is an excellent product for use for printing depth dark
shade on light color fabrics where excellent finish, elastomeric and soft hand feel is required. PMS Color Matching for
Ecosol is recommended to be printed on cotton, blend, rayon and certain type of stretchable fabric. Motive printed with
Ecosol will show have excellent elastomeric properties, high washing fastness properties and high color brilliancy. The wet
and dry crocking fastness for printed Ecosol system show excellent result of [4-5]. The Ecosol system consists of one
Matching White, one Highopaque Base White, one Clear, 14 standard concentrated pigment colors and 8 Fluorescent
pigment concentrated colors.

| Application Tips |
Base White
Ecosol White HO is recommended to be use direct from the can as underbase white.
Color Mixing
Refer to our Color Matching formulation base on the color desire. Mix color using our Ecosol Clear, Ecosol OP Base,
Ecosol White, and 14 concentrated pigment paste to the desire color from your color guide book.
A small dosage of water, lubricant and additive are recommended upon customers' requirement.
Low cure agent or matting agent are added to lower down the curing temperature as well as dulling down the print surface.
Antitac NT is recommended to reduce the print tacky if required.
The Ecosol System, ink will partially air dry on open screen (especially under the variable of low humid and high
temperature). Always use waterbase mode on your automatic printer as this will flood the open screen after print and
eliminate screen drying and complication in the printing process. Spraying a mist of water mix with Lubricant over the ink
prior production after a short production break is recommended. This is to re-emulsifying the acrylic resin and enhancing
printability.
To achieve excellent opacity, elasticity on rib or stretchable fabric the below precaution are to be follow.
- Always lay down higher deposit of ink by using lower mesh count screen, rounded squeegee and soft table.
- Print the mix ink onto the stretchable fabric following the direction of the fabric grain.
- Cure at the optimum temperature and do not stretch fabric while fabrics are hot.
Note: It is important to stir this product before use. Lids must be kept on the containers at all times.

| Type Of Stencil & Mesh |
Printers are advice to use only water resistant, direct in direct emulsion. Capillary film are recommended for fine details
printing (Call your emulsion supplier for water resist emulsion). Avoid using screen hardener or enhancer, as this product
will also react with the resin in the ink system and speed up the filming process.
Mesh Type
32T mono-filament for Puff, Metallic, Glitter, and Shimmer.
49~52S mono-multi filament for under base white.
54~77S mono-multi filament for detail print or for out line and tone on fabric.

| Squeegees And Printing Table |
| For excellent opacity on printing under base white, 55/65 sore hardness squeegees are recommended. Soft tables are most
suitable. We will suggest that a silicon rubber, are to be place on top of the printing pellet to improve the printing table
hardness. Squeegee hardness of 65/75 sore was recommended for wet on wet for multi color printing. Squeegee hardness of
75/85 was recommended for detail and fine toning effect. |
|
| |
| Curing Condition |
| For maximum fastness, prints are to be cure at 150°C or 320°F. Airflow recommended is 2500 cfm. for 3 minutes. |

| |
| Others Important Tips |
|
Always use Waterbase mode in using Ecosol on an Automatic press. Always flood screen when completed every printing
stroke, this is to prevent ink from drying on screen. Avoid using too high temperature on flashing under-base white. To
achieve excellent fastness you might need to add Catalyst ISR up to a maximum of 1.5 % by weight.
